Rob Walling
My name is Rob Walling and I’m a software developer living and working in Boston (as of July 1, 2008). I’ve been writing code since I was eight years old and have worked as a consultant, a freelance developer, the development manager for the City of Pasadena, and a team lead for the world’s largest prepaid credit card company.

I’ve owned a few companies over the years including an ISP, a tiny shrinkwrapped software company, and for the past five years, a software consulting firm called The Numa Group that performs ASP.NET development and hiring consultation to clients throughout the United States.

I write about software and the internet from a few angles: hiring, managing and motivating developers, improving development skills, and software startups.

You can contact me here, or at rob (at) softwarebyrob.com.
