Bravo for Microsoft - $7M Spam Lawsuit Victory

Microsoft recently won a $7 million lawsuit against spam king Scott Richter. They’re planning to give $5 million of it to help law enforcement agencies address computer-related crimes, and another $1 million to New York State to expand computer-related skills traiing for youth and adults. The balance will pay for their legal costs.
I’m neither a fan nor detractor of Microsoft, but a victory against spam is a victory for all of us, and donating the proceeds is a classy choice. Let’s hope this continues…
