Sneaking into Apple
Cool News, Links & Reviews, Software Development
Here’s a cool story about a guy who’s project at Apple was cancelled but he kept sneaking in for six months, working 12-hour days, seven days a week to complete the project. He even paid for outside contractors out of his savings.
This is a guy with passion; not for money, but for a vision. Although I question the health and sustainability of such a lifestyle, I have to respect his dedication.
When was the last time you had a vision that you believed with such fervor that nothing could stand in your way? If you don’t have one, how can you find one?

I believe passion is centric to any great achievement. I’ve read that “You never will be the person you can be if pressure, tension and discipline are taken out of your life.” but I think its passion which drives the wheel of innovation. Skype, Flickr, eBay, Google…you name it…carry thousands of man hour worth of struggle, coding, analysis, design and problem solving time. Believing in a vision and then having the passion and ability to achieve it is the winning combination, gist of what it needs to be at the pinnacle of success. Avitzur’s value of achievement, lied in the achieving.
