Interesting! I remember when I finally decided to go into management; up until that point I had always said there's no way I do it, I had enough trouble managing myself, but after watching many good friends treated poorly and berated for failures I now attribute to poor management, I decided to stop cursing the darkness, and light a candle. With over 25 years as a manager, I'm still learning and still loving the role. Your perspectives are excellent, and well stated.
