		<description>I agree with you, RMD. I&#039;ve seen the MS voice recognition software at another demo and it was awesome.  I just had to chuckle (and feel bad) at the akwardness of the demo, and the &quot;ambient noise&quot; comment, which was obviously not the case as you&#039;ve pointed out.</description>

		<description>It wasn&#039;t ambient noise. It was a combination of the gain of the mic being set far too high (notice it was spiking 100% most of the time?) and an old build of the software that lacked the gain-compensation features.  If you try this stuff out yourself it works *very* well.</description>
