		<description>@Anon - Haha, I wish it were the case that there were bugs in my code - I tried every working code sample online trying to get it to work. I used the same code against the Sophos engine and it worked. I have a conspiracy theory about this that I won&#039;t go into here.

Regarding clamav: I knew when I posted this that I&#039;d get 100 chuckleheads talking about how I missed out on some wondrous open source tool that would make all of this go away. We didn&#039;t &quot;completely miss&quot; clamav, in fact we evaluated it, but it was eliminated because the virus definitions are not nearly as up to date as commercial a/v tools.</description>

Oh, and how you could manage to completely miss clamav, the one antivirus that is both Open Source *and* exists as a library that you can easily use, is beyond me.</description>
